Tomorrow is the start to the US Open. It's also father's Day on Sunday so what a great time to grab a cold one with dad and get in front of the tube. I have come across a great thirst quenching cocktail that will keep you going back for more and more. Lets start with the recipe for the 19th hole that is very refreshing. I had this on the course about a week ago, The Sweet tea Vodka and Lemonade will be the drink this summer, so move over you cosmos, mojitos and margaritas. Some may call this a John Daly, The non alcoholic version is the Arnold Palmer. They both taste delicious. The problem with the vodka sweet tea and lemonade is it tastes so good you can keep going till you stand up after the 4 or 5th one.
There are many companies that make this sweet tea vodka like Seagrams, Jerimiah Weed and Firefly Vodka.











So go to your supermarket or liquor store and pick up a bottle and some lemonade. We use frozen minute maid but I think any good brand will do for the mix.
Get the golf pint and shot glass set for the drinks. Pour 1 1/2 shots of sweet tea vodka, add Ice, fill the rest up with lemonade and kick back and relax and enjoy!
